Look at how close the liquidity was around $14.6 – $14.3. That zone was packed with recent liquidations, yet price bounced without fully taking it.
Now look above — there’s a lot of liquidity sitting between $16 – $19.
So the question is simple:
Will price go for the closer and heavier liquidity first?
From an OB perspective, it makes sense to grab the liquidity above $16 first. It’s nearby and attractive.
My read: a push toward $16+, trap some liquidity there, then rotate back down toward $14 to complete the sweep.
That’s how structures usually plays out.
