😭 😩 My less favorite memory with crypto👇 The first time i decided to buy crypto. I was contacted by a user on telegram who offered to sell me some Bitcoin at a good price. i was excited and transferred $200 to his account. However,after the transfer was made,the user disappeared and i never received the Bitcoin. I felt angry and disappointed, determined to get my money back, so i created a new username and contacted the scammer, pretending to be a new customer, but the plan didn't work out as i had hoped. The scammer didn't fall for my trap, and i left with no choice but to accept the loss. 🔹️My Suggestion for you today is the following : 👉 Scams involving crypto are becoming more common. As part of the scheme, the so called investment managers claim to have made millions investing in cryptocurrency and promise their victims that they will make money with investments. To get started, the scammers request an upfront fee. Then, instead of making money, the thieves simply steal the upfront fees. The scammers may also request personal identification information, claiming it's for transferring or depositing funds, and thus gain access to a person's cryptocurrency. Another type of investment scam involves using fake celebrity endorsements. Scammers take real photos and impose them on fake accounts, ads or articles to make it appear as though the celebrity is promoting a large financial gain from the investment. The sources for these claims appear to be legitimate, using reputable company names such as ABC or CBS with a professional looking website and logos. However, the endorsement is fake. 2. Rug pull scams Rug pull scams involve investment scammers "pumping up" a new project, (NFT) or coin to get funding. After the scammers get the money, they disappear with it. 🚨 I have been scammed on P2P on Binance. This is how i lost 740$ 🚨🤬 I opened the app, went to the express P2P section, and placed a sell order for some fractional BTC. It auto matched me to someone, and I trusted Binance and went and placed the order. The buyer asked me to release my crypto and stay online for 5 mins by which time he would send my Fiat. But once I released my crypto, nothing happened. He stopped responding to my messages and my crypto had already been taken away from my P2P wallet ... Only after this entire fiasco was I able to open that individual's profile and see that his entire history is % order filled and reviews of him doing the same scam to multiple people. This was my first time using Binance P2P. I was financially ruined by this back then 😥☹😭 #ScamRiskWarning @Binance Risk Sniper
