🔑 Requirement 1: Make sure you've got the latest version of the Binance app on your phone. If not, you need the mobile app to have your Web3 wallet. The Binance Web3 wallet DOESN'T work from the web browser or other Binance apps; it's exclusively in the official Binance mobile app, and you need to have Binance PRO mode activated. (Read my guide to understand how to switch to PRO mode).
🔑 Requirement 2: We'll be using the BSC network (so you NEED to have at least $2 worth of BNB in your Web3 wallet; this is to cover network fees).
🔑🔑 IMPORTANT: This isn't a guide on using Web3 (if you don't know how, ASK before you lose money!).
Step by Step (by LocademiaCripto)
1. Open the Binance mobile app and log in.
2. Go to Wallet, then Web3.
3. Assuming you're buying TON with USDT, transfer the amount of USDT (on the BEP20) you want to invest in TONCOIN (also on BEP20) from Binance (spot or funds) to your Web3 wallet (I assume you know how to do this).
4. Once you've got your money in Binance Web3, click on USDT, then click on SWAP. We're looking for the Binance Smart Chain and the TONCOIN token (contract: 0x76a7...1d220f) <-- You can VERIFY the TON contract YOURSELF on CoinMarketCap!!! Always double-check before you trust...
- You'll see TON (TONCOIN); choose the amount to "buy" (from USDT) to TON. You can choose another provider (optional).
5. You make the SWAP!
6. Done, congrats, you've bought TON and it's in your Binance Web3 wallet.
😊 Extra tip: DON'T move coins from the Web3 wallet to Binance Spot without properly verifying if those coins are listed within Binance. If you don't understand what you're reading, DON'T DO ANYTHING until you understand perfectly what you're doing!
