Helen Boyd, Head of Capital Markets at the UK Financial Supervisory Authority, announced at the Digital Asset Summit that the UK Treasury is set to support a digital securities sandbox by the end of the first quarter of the next year. She stated, "We hope to implement Box (DSS), which will revolutionize the trading, settlement, and clearing process." The British government conducted industry consultations regarding DSS, with plans to enable companies to model operations similar to Korea Securities Depository and exchanges through distributed ledger technology (DLT).
