That 494.6M is just the circulating supply when listed on the spot (this number is relative) accounting for 12.37%.
Usual will be minted daily based on the formula in the white paper (I'm both bad at math and English, so please look at the white paper).
So it's likely that on the first day of the airdrop team list, they didn't request it right away, so the total circulating supply is less than 494.6M. After that, the usual amount will be minted daily for 4 years.
In my humble opinion, there will no longer be a limit of 494.6, but will follow the formula in the white paper. If it stops at 494.6, then I misunderstood, if it continues to increase, then I understood correctly and still follow its roadmap, they are not scamming us.
