Layer 2 on Bitcoin
Layer 2 on Bitcoin is really a mixed bag now. I would like to remind everyone that there is currently no real Layer 2 solution on Bitcoin (the three laws referred to here), because it is not like Ethereum due to its smart contracts and EVM. It is developed based on the laws of security, decentralization, openness and transparency. (Currently Ethereum’s more recognized solution Rollup, represented by @zksync@dYdX@Optimism@arbitrum)
Therefore, L2 on Bitcoin does not have an accurate definition. What kind of path needs to be taken in the future depends on which of the three laws investors prefer to abandon. The Bitcoin ecological second-layer network currently has the most consensus. The L2 is @Stacks, and the second-layer MerlinLayer2 that has been committed to promoting Ordinals will be implemented using ParticleNtwrk;
Everyone also needs to understand that all#layer2second-layer project parties have room to do evil, whether it is#ETH#Ethereum or the upcoming#BTC#Bitcoin second-layer network.
How do we avoid stepping into pitfalls? Here are a few things to keep in mind!
1. Those with few participants will not participate;
2. If the project party has no money, they will not participate;
3. The project party does not publish technical documents and does not participate;
4. Anonymous project team, try to participate as little as possible!
Just the opposite of participating in other projects on Ordinals!
