Sei Labs Plans to Launch Sei V2 Upgrade in 2024 Allowing Ethereum Protocol Deployment
According to Foresight News, Sei Labs is planning to launch the Sei V2 upgrade in the first half of 2024, according to its co-founder Jay Jog. The upgrade will implement EVM parallelization, allowing developers to deploy Ethereum protocols on Sei. Currently, Sei requires developers to write protocols using programming languages such as Rust or C++. However, after the Sei V2 upgrade, developers will be able to use languages like Solidity and Vyper, which are popular among Ethereum developers.
Omiga, First Inscription Project on Nervos CKB, Set to Launch
According to Foresight News, Omiga, the first inscription project on Nervos CKB, is set to officially launch on January 16 at 20:00 Beijing time. A total of 21 million MEMES inscriptions will be issued on Omiga, with each minting process yielding 10 MEMES and consuming 145 CKB as UTXO space without loss. Omiga is an inscription protocol based on PoW + extended UTXO, featuring complete on-chain verification of inscriptions and support for mainstream Bitcoin wallets without the need for centralized indexing.
