Bonk enthusiasts express frustration at not being able to perform “Burnmas” on Christmas
BURNmas was originally scheduled for December 25. Ultimately, the goal was surpassed and BonkDAO members voted in favor of an updated proposal to burn 1.69 trillion BONK tokens.
Following the token burn event on December 26, the token dropped 7.2%, maintaining a market cap of $2.3 billion.
The token has not been able to revive the same success it witnessed in the previous burn of 100 billion BONK tokens on November 13, 2024.
Bonk, a meme-inspired cryptocurrency, has failed to emerge from a broader crypto meltdown despite a token burn event that kept around 1.69 trillion BONK tokens, estimated to be worth more than $51 million, out of circulation.

My guess is that within 2 years you won’t even be able to buy XRP. XRP was designed to be a bridge currency and not to be bought and sold on exchanges. Once Ripple wins the SEC lawsuit, you will start to see its price increase significantly; as it will be the only currency that is considered a non-security and will have legal clarity that will allow for widespread adoption by US financial institutions. Soon after, I believe Ripple will no longer release XRP from their custody to retail exchanges, even if they relist XRP on their exchanges. It will only be released for on-demand liquidity purposes for financial institutions. However, before retail investors are shut out, I think it could easily cross the $$ 150 mark. My only concern is how the buyback from retail investors will be handled once we can no longer buy it on exchanges; as the ultimate use for XRP is to be a stablecoin used on the XRP Ledger as a bridge currency between all digital assets, including all digital fiats. It has been calculated that when fully adopted as the world's bridge currency, it will cost around $$ 35,000 to $$ 50,000 per XRP coin. Of course, we won't see these extremely high prices by the time we are delisted without massive collective action!
