You have nothing to do with this field, Trump is not a catalyst, the Fed is a catalyst, the date of the 18th is a catalyst
In all of us, dopamine physiologically pushes us to convince ourselves that "the rise will start again tomorrow"... Pragmatically, I believe that at the moment we are in a lateral phase of prudent waiting; and therefore I do not expect any definite directions of the market, at least until the day of Trump's inauguration. Provided that the current clique does not do further damage in the meantime, precisely to worsen the situation to be left in the hands of their successor...
I see everything very much in the balance on a geopolitical level; therefore economic and financial..
I believe it is already an excellent sign that all the highest supports are generally holding anyway. I would in fact see the correction of these days as consistent with this transitory moment: the big ones in the black have capitalized and are now accumulating and waiting... Accumulating however; not selling off.. Which I think is indeed a good sign.
Barring cataclysms, therefore, I personally have no illusions about an upward rally between now and the end of January 2025. But if the market still holds the highest supports until those days, then I will let my dopamine circulate freely again.
