Today I read a news item here on Binance about the adoption of the Xrp Ledger, Ripple's blockchain and the XRP coin, by Japanese banks. A user didn't believe the news and asked for a link to it. I started to investigate on my own and saw that Ripple has been working hard in Japan since 2017. In 2017 they tested an interbank payment system that started in 2018 called Money Tap, which is currently in use. During all this time they have continued to make partnerships with different banks in the country and on the Nasdaq.com page you can verify that in 2025 the massive adoption of the XRP Ledger by the Japanese banking system will start. An unknown person contacted me via Telegram and stayed in touch for 4 days. During these 4 days of conversation, he told me that cryptocurrency is banned in his country (Algeria), so he needed an unknown account to send BTC. In return, he offered me a 15% commission. I agreed, and he sent me BTC.
However, the BTC he sent landed in my unknown crypto account (nordepass.com), but my account got blocked. When I contacted customer service, they told me that I needed to complete KYC, which required me to deposit 0.0005 BTC first.
I asked the person who sent me the BTC about this. He said it was a normal process and even showed me proof of previous transactions. He claimed that he does this regularly.
After a while, I blocked him because I didn't want to be involved in any suspicious activity or do anything wrong. But later, out of compulsion, I started depositing into that account, thinking that it might be a gift from God. However, it turned out to be false. Neither is there any "God" in this world, nor humanity.
Did I do something wrong by blocking that unknown person? Did I deceive him? I had already blocked him and tried to send BTC to the deposit address he provided, but the transaction didn't go through. As I mentioned, did I do something wrong?
Now I feel I shouldn't have done this. Can someone help me? Even a little help from everyone won't fully recover my loss, but it will serve as a testament to humanity. It will make people think and give advice to those involved in cryptocurrency.

Did I do something wrong by blocking that unknown person? Did I deceive him? I had already blocked him and tried to send BTC to the deposit address he provided, but the transaction didn't go through. As I mentioned, did I do something wrong?
