What data will we be working with?
The Formula One 2024 dataset reveals the details of each lap, including times, tires, pit stops, distances and positions, allowing participants to explore how these elements shape race results.
By analyzing the performance of Soft, Medium and Hard tires, participants will assess how tire durability and performance affect pit stop strategy and ultimately the outcome of the race. This integrated data approach will quantify the impact of strategic decisions on race trajectory, providing a deep understanding of Formula 1 dynamics.
What is the goal of the event?
Participants in the Formula 1 Racing Challenge 2024 project are diving into deep analysis, exploring how tire efficiency and pit stop strategies determine race outcomes.
