Stolen funds returned
Following the quick and effective response of our security team and the involvement of federal law enforcement agencies, the >$20 million (in ETH) was returned to the Gala ecosystem.
We want to inform the Gala community about a recent security incident involving $GALA on the Ethereum network. Yesterday afternoon we detected a suspicious transfer of US$200 million in $GALA tokens. Within 45 minutes, all tokens in the unauthorized wallet were frozen. Our quick response and robust security measures in place ensured the impact was minimized and we want to reassure our community that assets remain safe.
