FAKE MNEB WAS SENT TO 5 MILLION WALLET ADDRESSES, ATTENTION!
The sneaky practice of airdrop fraud can result in the theft of millions or even billions of dollars.
Fake airdrop tokens in a person's wallet cannot be traded or exchanged. Instead, users are instructed to go to a fake copy website of the real project
▪︎Detecting Airdrop Scams:
1-The first way to detect airdrop fraud is to try to swap the airdrop token (Important: It should only be done through reliable defis such as pancakeswap). If it is not swapped, you may be a potential victim of fraud.
2-To check the market value and liquidity of the suspicious project. To do this, users must go to PooCoin or any other token tracking website. For this example, let's examine MNEB on PooCoin (Image below)
If a user received an airdrop of 150,000 MNEB, reflecting MNE's price of 0.10 according to CoinMarketCap, the user would consider themselves to have 15,000 $ worth of MNEB. A fee of 0.3 BNB to request 15,000 $ makes sense, the only problem is that the user never gets that $15,000.
▪︎However, examining the MNEB/BNB LP holdings shown in green below will show liquidity of just over $12,000. This means it is impossible to replace 15,000 $ worth of airdropped MNEBs. (Image is below)
On the other hand, scammers are trying to deceive many people by sending messages to them on Telegram and Discord, saying that the following wallet has a private key and that they want support to extract this amount, be careful (Image is below)
Definitely do not even Approve, Approve allows that token to interact with its contract. Since we cannot see the contract of this token, Approve should not be done in order to avoid any risk. Stay tuned for important data.
