According to on-chain data, a long-dormant Bitcoin whale suddenly resurfaced as Bitcoin (BTC) briefly touched $69,000. 🔥
A Bitcoin wallet that had been dormant for over 10 years has now been reactivated, according to blockchain data tracker Whale Alert: “A dormant address holding 25 BTC worth $1,711,020 has been reactivated after 10.8 years.” 🔥
The wallet, which held 25 BTC, was worth around $1.71 million when it was activated. The wallet has not made any transactions since 2013, when Bitcoin was worth a fraction of its current value. At the time, BTC was priced below $1,000, making this whale’s holdings extremely valuable given the rapid rise in Bitcoin’s value over the past decade. 🔥
