I understand that. Personally, I only trade BTC at 4x in futures and doing DCA has worked quite well for me this year, just as you say. It's all about not over-leveraging.
Doing DCA in trades with leverage is chasing the price, it is clinging to the operation. Which is never advisable, you should always cut losses quickly.
