Just a side note for those of you wondering why this is important. The Qtum Team publishes open source updates, but we rely on community confidence to accept them. We don't have the ability to force exchanges, wallet providers, or node operators to accept them. If the community rejects the updates, effectively there will be 2 Qtum blockchains, just like what happened with Ethereum and Ethereum Classic.
If this scenario isn't possible on whatever chain you're interested in, it's likely that project is centralized.

A side note, the final token unlock event for Qtum happened 4 years ago. Qtum is 97.85% in circulation, with the remaining 2.15% to be staked over the next 17 years.
