A Limitless Future at Your Fingertips: The Case for Dither
The Dither project was created by Mattness, in December 2023. The $DITH coin was first minted on December 29th 2023. According to https://dith.ai the very premise of Dither is summarized with the following:
Dither
is a multi-faceted experiment which leverages the solana ecosystem to
build the world’s most powerful AI time-series models for trading.
The current roadmap of $DITH as far as we understand is to build a foundational ai model on which partnerships and further products (other
than Seerbot) can be built upon. Before that, a premium offering (50,000 tokens required) will be rolled out, and will serve as a prediction
tool on any given crypto and potentially any security. Predicting outcomes and prices is at the center of what the premium offering of the
project.
Alongside proprietary AI computing power, Matness built Seerbot, a trading bot designed to forecast the performance of meme coins that would outperform industry peers (essentially predicting which new coins wouldn’t get
rugged or fail, mostly in the short term). However, when the foundational model is rolled out, many applications will follow suit, such as:
Predicting outcomes on prediction markets (ie Polymarket, Kalshi, etc.)Legacy financial markets (equities, FX and large cap cryptos)Sports bettingBetter weather predictions that can help predict supply and demand of commodities
Thus far, the differentiating factor for $DITH is its utilization of Time Series Models to successfully assess a coin’s potential success. The coveted foundational model is being trained with the data that is gathered from Seer’s Time Series Model.
Time Series Models have been around for quite a while, mostly in statistical and economic science. In its most simplistic definition, the goal of said model is to create a trend with a plethora of data points, to which we can spot and try to predict patterns thereafter.
