Analyst predicts XRP price will rise 3,000% to $22
Cryptocurrency analyst Crypto Egrag has provided an update on his recent analysis, in which he predicted that the price of XRP would drop significantly. Egrag correctly predicted this and has now predicted the crypto coin’s next move. Egrag mentioned in an X (formerly Twitter) post that XRP’s next move “could be between 1,000% and 3,000%.” He acknowledged that current market conditions might make it hard for anyone to imagine such a move for XRP. However, he added that the chart suggests that if the historical trends of 2017 or 2021 repeat themselves, XRP would rise to between $10 and $22.

Experts Say #Ripple and #SEC May Have Reached a Settlement
Recent events have sparked speculation about a possible settlement between Ripple and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Although not confirmed, Ashley Prosper (@AshleyPROSPER1), a prominent figure in the XRP community, has analyzed several aspects that could suggest a settlement.
First, he highlighted the recent Second Circuit ruling in SEC v. Govil. The ruling, which denied the SEC’s request to vacate its disgorgement decision, could impact the SEC’s case against Ripple. Second, Prosper criticized the SEC’s remedy-related briefs for failing to identify harmed investors, a key element of their argument.
Another notable development is the apparent shift in focus from the SEC. The regulator recently launched an investigation into Ethereum and Uniswap, potentially classifying Ethereum as a security, and issued a Wells Notice to decentralized exchange (DEX) Uniswap. This shift could be strategic, allowing the SEC to devote resources elsewhere while the Ripple lawsuit progresses through the courts.
Ashley Prosper highlighted other potential factors, such as a court-ordered settlement conference, which reportedly took place on March 29 and lasted longer than expected. While details have not yet been disclosed, the extended conference could be interpreted as a positive sign for settlement talks.
Additionally, Ripple’s recent foray into the stablecoin market, and the sudden release of 500 million XRP from escrow, has fueled speculation of a settlement between the two parties.
