Unveiling the Multi-Signature Wallet Scam that Cheats Gas Fees in the Cryptocurrency World
The scam I am discussing today is also quite common; it exploits people's psychology of wanting to get something for nothing. First, the scammer pretends to be a novice in the cryptocurrency space. They claim that USDT has been transferred out, and then they will inadvertently leak both the mnemonic phrase and the private key. Typically, individuals seeing such a large amount of USDT along with a mnemonic phrase feel like they have hit the jackpot.
When someone uses the mnemonic phrase to restore the wallet and discovers that there really is that much USDT, they may want to transfer some TRX as gas fees so that they can withdraw the USDT.
In fact, this wallet is a multi-signature wallet. Once you transfer TRX tokens to that wallet address, it will immediately transfer the TRX away. The scammer is cheating by taking the TRX transaction fees; any TRX in that wallet will automatically be transferred out. You will not be able to withdraw any assets from that wallet.
Other chain wallets operate similarly, but I won't elaborate further.
🚀 The Simpsons have done it again! 💡 In a jaw-dropping 2021 episode, the legendary show hinted at something unbelievable—**Bitcoin’s value soaring to INFINITY**! 🤯 Yes, you read that right, infinity! This isn’t just another wild guess. The Simpsons have a history of predicting the future with eerie accuracy. Remember when they foresaw Donald Trump’s presidency back in 2000? Or when they called the Fox-Disney merger in 1998, decades before it became a reality? And let’s not forget the predicti
Don’t forget the original intention of this circle, the fascinating future. If there is no BTC, it will really be the same as the environment in cyberpunk, with class solidification, multinational monopoly of companies, and omnipotence.
Millennials and Generation Z were raised to be self-employed, convinced that success and security are within reach as long as they work hard and keep learning. In their view, failure is a personal shame because it means not putting in enough time and effort. However, this dream was shattered after the 2008 financial crisis.
These new generations also grew up in a speculative environment. Most of them were teenagers or children during the financial crisis, or just graduated from college, or became adults during the pandemic. They were born from the mid-1980s to the early 21st century, and their growth environment was shaped by factors such as the vacuum of post-communist politics, the speculation and excess of the Internet era, and the uncertainty of the 2008 financial crisis. They experienced the collapse of the American dream and felt the country's backwardness in aspects such as student debt, quality of medical services, and cost of living. The sense of security and investment in public resources such as education and housing that their grandparents and parents enjoyed after the war have been replaced by uncertainty and risk. Trading forums are not only places to exchange crazy investment advice, but also places where people express their loss of hope in these dreams.
What replaced people's fantasies of a better life? Is it the dream of preparing to live on Mars or other universes? Financial security through crazy deals? Or finding a good spouse who can take your mind off your troubles?
