The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) of the United States has announced the appointment of two new cryptocurrency tax experts from the private sector to focus on crypto assets. The official tax filing season began on January 29th in the U.S., and following this development, the IRS has issued notifications urging citizens to report all cryptocurrency and crypto asset income, including #NFTs.
South Korea's financial authorities are set to discuss the recognition of NFTs as crypto assets with the Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The aim is to bring clarity to the legal status of NFTs. Currently, NFTs are considered outside the scope of crypto assets in the country.
The rapid rise of artificial intelligence seems to further accelerate the pace of #NFT.
