According to "The Block" report, cryptocurrency investment institution Pantera sent an email to potential investors this week stating that the institution is raising funds for a new fund dedicated to investing in The Open Network (TON). It is reported that the fund is called "Pantera TON Investment Opportunity" and aims to raise funds to purchase more TON tokens.

In the letter, Pantera asked interested parties to indicate their interest in the opportunity via a form by June 21 to secure an allocation from the fund. The form states that the minimum investment per backer is $250,000.

The company announced its investment in The Open Network's native token TON in May. Dan Morehead, founder of Pantera Capital, said at the time that the investment in TON was the largest investment in Pantera's history. Although the company did not disclose the specific amount. However, according to Pantera’s past investment records, the institution’s highest single investment amount was the Gemini Exchange’s Series A financing in 2021, when it invested approximately US$400 million. From this, it can be inferred that Pantera’s investment in TON may be at least $400 million.
