1. What is zkEVM for?
- Did you know zk proof (zero-knowledge proofs) is the most secure authenticator (more than optimism proofs) that helps authenticators prove they know about transactions without revealing platform data.
- Ronin zkEVM is built with Polygon CDK as a tool to create Layer2 on Ronin Chain
2. Benefits of Ronin zkEVM
- For a game chain, the ability to handle a large amount of traffic and many users is extremely vital, and building an L1 chain is very time-consuming and laborious. Ronin did a great job building RON from an Axie Infinity sidechain into an independent Gaming Chain.
- But with rapid development, a long-standing L1 chain has certain limitations, launching Ronin zkEVM I think is smart. Because with the current Ronin chain, it can be used with 40 million trans per day, but up to 400 million or 4 billion trans per day, zkEVM is a smart choice.
