Against the backdrop of the growing popularity of meme coins, the Solana blockchain recorded an absolute record for the number of coins created per month.
In May, 455,000 new tokens were deployed on the network. The closest competitor, Base, has 177,000. Since the beginning of the year, 1.1 million tokens have been created on Solana.
