Reviewing history (replaying) requires breaking the barrier of "near is big, far is small".
Many people tend to ignore (perhaps because they have not experienced it, or they have forgotten) some objective states of the market at that time when they recall the past, and only look at the current results. The past is automatically photoshopped into a photo they want. For life, we can do this, which can relieve us of a lot of pain. But for investment, this is absolutely not allowed, because it will be very misleading to our investment decisions.
