The Fantom Foundation announced the detailed plan for the new blockchain network Sonic Network.
Sonic will be a brand new Layer 1 blockchain that will be connected to Ethereum through a native cross-chain bridge.
Holders of $FTM will have the ability to migrate their tokens for a 1:1 ratio at genesis for the $S token, pending the results of a first governance vote (see below for link to the first governance vote).
