Golden Finance reported that before the U.S. House of Representatives voted on H.J. Res. 109 (i.e., overturning the SEC's SAB 121 regulations on digital assets), President Biden issued a threatening statement that he might use executive power to veto if there is a resolution to overturn SEC policies. The White House said it "strongly opposes" attempts by House members to undermine the SEC's measures to "protect investors in the crypto asset market and protect the broader financial system." In addition, the SEC can also decide to revoke SAB 121 to avoid forcing Biden to decide whether to exercise a veto.
