According to ChainCatcher, Valour, a subsidiary of decentralized finance company DeFi Technologies, announced that it will include Toncoin and Shiba Inu in the euro and Swedish krona baskets of its digital asset ETP product Valour Digital Asset Basket 10 (VDAB10). The adjustment will take effect on April 30.
VDAB10 tracks the performance of the top ten digital assets by market capitalization, with a single asset weight capped at 30%. This adjustment reflects the changes in the top ten assets by market capitalization, ensuring that VDAB10 continues to reflect the current composition of the digital asset market.
After adjustment, the weights of each asset are: Bitcoin 30%, Ethereum 30%, BNB 12.92%, Solana 9.85%, XRP 4.28%, Doge 3.28%, Toncoin 2.82%, Cardano 2.54%, Shiba Inu 2.25%, and Avax 2.06%.
Polkadot and Tron were automatically removed from the basket as they are no longer in the top 10 by market cap. This is part of Valour’s rules-based approach to ensure that VDAB10 always passively and accurately reflects the top digital assets.
