The developers of the blockchain The Open Network (TON) #TON plan to reduce transaction costs for users, and in the new contract for USDT allow payment of commissions directly in the stablecoin from Tether. This was reported by the DeCenter Telegram channel.

This information was not published in the official TON channels. However, the project roadmap announced the addition of payment channels that will allow two participants to make an unlimited number of instant micropayments without fees. You will only be charged for creating and closing a channel.

A post dedicated to reducing transaction costs also appeared in the TON developer chat on April 16.

All details will be announced at the Token2049 conference in Dubai. At it, Pavel Durov will present “the first, real and valuable scenario for using TON, which will be available to all 900 million active Telegram users.”
