Why Are Meme Coins So Popular Despite Strong Projects?$

Despite solid projects solving real-world problems, some “meme coins” continue to gain value. This can be explained by various factors, including an engaged community and high virality on social media, driving increased interest and demand. In addition, the fun and trendy aspect of these cryptocurrencies can attract investors looking for quick gains, especially novices. Their more affordable price may also appeal to those seeking low-cost, high-yield investment opportunities. Finally, speculation and significant price fluctuations can also contribute to their appeal.

The favorite phrase of beginners when they write to me on my Facebook or Twitter page is to give them a low-capitalization “meme coin”. Indeed, these investors are often attracted by the prospect of finding the next great investment opportunity at a low price.

Regarding Doge, if it is not yet in your portfolio, its recent breakout of the weekly accumulation zone confirms the start of the rise. The influx of new investors could propel it towards the $1 mark. Personally, I limit my exposure to meme coins to less than 1% of my portfolio, thus taking a conservative approach.
