Binance launched 'Sharing Blessings with the World' on March 15, 2024 to provide food supplies to more than 1,500 families in Egypt, Gaza, Morocco and Pakistan this month of Ramadan.
Our Ramadan charity initiative in partnership with a number of reputable NGOs, such as Alkhidmat Foundation, aims to provide on-the-ground assistance to people in need.
Through this initiative, Binance aims to directly combat food insecurity and foster a culture of compassion as part of its longer Ramadan Calendar program, which features daily activities March 11-20, including $400,000 in rewards that will be distributed.
Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, is a holy time for Muslims around the world that is observed through fasting, prayer and reflection. Fasting, one of the Five Pillars of Islam, is considered a time for spiritual reflection, piety, and self-discipline. However, the issue of food insecurity can compound the difficulties faced by many families during these times, turning what should be a time of spiritual enrichment into a time of struggle.
Charity, a cornerstone of Islamic teachings, has special significance during the month of Ramadan. Ramadan is a time when Muslims are encouraged to raise their awareness of people in need and to enlarge their charitable deeds. Therefore, on March 15, 2024, Binance proudly launched 'Sharing Blessings with the World', an initiative that aims to deliver basic food supplies to more than 1,500 families in need in Egypt, Gaza, Morocco and Pakistan. With this initiative, we strive to uphold the essence of Ramadan - and its values of compassion, charity and assistance to society.
Direct Assistance Through Food Distribution
By understanding the importance of helping people in need directly, Binance is committed to making real efforts on the ground this month of Ramadan. We have partnered with key organizations in each targeted region to determine the families most in need of assistance. Through collaboration with organizations such as the Alkhidmat Foundation - a non-political, non-governmental and non-profit organization providing humanitarian and social welfare services to communities across Pakistan - we ensure our aid reaches the right hands at the right time.
To meet essential nutritional needs during this holy month, we are distributing food boxes filled with nutritious and non-expiry staples, such as rice, pasta, beans and canned goods, all sourced from local suppliers. This initiative not only helps the community, but also provides families with the means to prepare healthy food during the month of Ramadan. Specifically for Gaza, our food boxes will include ready-to-eat meals from Mitchell's, Pakistan's oldest food company, ensuring people facing difficult times have immediate food.

Binance Ramadan Calendar: $400,000 Reward
'Sharing Blessings with the World' comes as Day 5 of our longer Ramadan Calendar, a series of dynamic and exciting activities running from 11 March to 20 March. The initiative — presented as an online calendar, and featuring a mix of daily rewards, educational live streams, and community activities — is designed to surprise and foster unity. With more than $400,000 in rewards to be given away, we hope to inspire our community during this special time of sharing.
