Yesterday, Binance launched a new coin with the Restaking concept in the new coin mining section for the first time: ETHFI.

The concept of Restaking refers to the process of re-placing the pledged Ethereum on other protocols or DApps and participating in the verification process. It connects with the security and liquidity of Ethereum through an active verification service, so that this method still has the security and other properties of Ethereum without the need to establish an additional verification system.

ETHFI is the number one protocol type in Restaking. As of now, approximately 620,000 ETH have been pledged, with a current value of approximately $2.5 billion.

Based on past Binance Coin mining pool revenue calculations, the average annualized rate of the first eight periods is approximately 135%. Assuming a 135% return rate for ETHFI, after four days of mining, the final price will be close to 9u.
