Binance announces support for Optimistic and Arbitration network upgrades and hard forks
The Optimistic (OP) network upgrade and hard fork is scheduled to take place around 03:00 on March 14, 2024, at block height 1,710,374,401.
To facilitate a smooth transition, Binance will temporarily suspend token deposits and withdrawals on the Optimistic (OP) Network starting March 13, 2024, 02:00 AM.
Likewise, the Arbitrum (ARB) network upgrade and hard fork is scheduled for March 14, 2024 at 12:00 PM.
In preparation for this event, Binance will suspend token deposits and withdrawals on the Arbitrum (ARB) network at approximately 11:00 AM ET on March 14, 2024.
It is important to note that during these upgrades and hard forks, token transactions on both the Optimism (OP) and Arbitrum (ARB) networks will not be impacted.
Binance assured users that it will manage all technical requirements to ensure a smooth transition.
After the upgrade is complete, Binance will reopen deposits and withdrawals for tokens on the Optimism (OP) and Arbitrum (ARB) networks once the upgraded networks are deemed stable and operational.
