Floki DAO has voted to pass a proposal to burn 190,918,585,431.84 FLOKI tokens. According to the proposal, the tokens will be burned within a week.

Previously, Floki developers proposed a proposal to burn a total of 190 billion FLOKI tokens worth $11 million to reduce the circulating supply by 2%. The move is intended to increase scarcity and improve network security. The proposed tokens will come from the supply of Multichain bridge storage, a platform that was exploited in July 2023 due to a vulnerability that resulted in more than $130 million in funds being stolen.
