Binance, the cryptocurrency exchange with the highest trading volume in the world, had withdrawals of $1.2 billion in the last 24 hours. This is shown by the data from the DefiLlama explorer.

The massive withdrawals from the exchange come after Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the former CEO of Binance, resigned from his position and pleaded guilty to violating anti-money laundering restrictions. The complaints were filed by the United States Department of Justice.

Of the total withdrawals, around $600 million left through the Ethereum, Avalanche, Fantom and Polygon networks, according to data compiled by explorer Nansen.

Meanwhile, cryptocurrency exchanges OKX and Bybit recorded inflows of $61 million and $54 million respectively. This can be seen in the following DefiLlama table
