LayerZero is a blockchain interoperability protocol that allows users to send tokens in the same transaction across different blockchains. This is an alternative to blockchain bridges, which require multiple transactions before the token transfer is completed.
According to The Block, the #LayerZero project team was able to raise $120 million as part of the Series B funding round.
The main investors were a16z Crypto, Sequoia Capital, Circle Ventures, Samsung Next, OpenSea and Christie’s funds, and the total number of investors was 33.
