Well-known venture investor Tim Draper repeated his bold prediction that the value of the first cryptocurrency will reach $250,000.
“Of course, I predict $250,000 for Bitcoin. I thought it would happen before June of this year, but it could happen a little later,” said Tim Draper.
He also expressed confidence in the durability of cryptocurrencies and rejected the possibility of Bitcoin disappearing.
“We will all be better off in a Bitcoin-based economy,” he said.
Tim Draper has already stated several times that in 2023 the Bitcoin rate will increase tenfold and reach $250,000. Even the collapse of some large exchanges will not affect the achievement of the level announced by the investor, the investor believes. According to him, the Bitcoin rate could exceed $250,000 if women around the world start paying for goods in stores.
Draper often criticizes the distrust of centralized governments towards crypto assets, especially the first cryptocurrency.
The investor emphasizes that although the authorities are still afraid of cryptocurrencies, the latter will inevitably transform the financial system. Draper recently spoke at Paris Blockchain Week '2023 (PWD). The speaker ended his speech entitled “Decentralization of Everything” with a song about Bitcoin of his own composition.
