About Marginfi

Marginfi is a decentralized lending protocol on Solana, equipped with real-time risk management and automatic settlement, providing a secure and reliable solution for users seeking leverage and maximizing capital efficiency. Additionally, Marginfi can integrate downstream and upstream with third-party protocols, allowing users to consolidate their investment portfolios on-chain and access a wide range of decentralized financial (DeFi) services.

Marginfi User Guide:

1. Open TokenPocket, select “Discover”, and in the top address bar, search for “Marginfi” and open it.

2. For first use, connect your wallet by clicking “Connect Wallet”. Marginfi supports two connection methods. In this tutorial, we will choose to connect using the Wallet method. Due to compatibility issues with the Marginfi client, the first TokenPocket icon may not be fully displayed. Click on the location indicated on the side to connect your wallet using TokenPocket.

3. After connecting to the wallet, the default interface is Lend, which is the lending function, you can choose the type of tokens supported and set the amount, then click [Supply] to perform the lending operation; After the lending is completed, you can click on the Borrow interface to carry out the lending function, because you have already provided the token lending as “collateral”, so you can choose other tokens to lend, also set the tokens and the amount, then click Borrow to perform the loan operation. After the loan is finished, you can click on the Borrow interface to carry out the loan function, because you have already provided tokens to lend as “collateral”, so you can choose other tokens to lend, and also set the tokens and the quantity, then click Borrow to carry out the chaining operation.

4. After the transaction is completed, you can click on the “Portfolio” function at the bottom to view information such as points and asset allocation. Click on the records that have already participated (borrowed/borrowed), and here you can choose the corresponding actions. For example, in the case of the loan, you can choose to repay or borrow more.

The “Stake” feature allows you to directly convert tokens into LST assets. For more information, see the LST usage rules in the interface instructions.

5. Marginfi also integrates other functions such as swap, bridge and other convenient functionalities, allowing you to perform multiple operations through a single DApp.
