#BTC #altseason2024 Before the SEC's decision on the spot ETF, we see a significant correction in altcoins and a loss of liquidity in favor of Bitcoin.
It seems to me that a similar situation occurred at the end of 2020, when Bitcoin showed growth more than the rest of the crypto market.
At the moment, roughly the same thing is happening as in 2023: the total capitalization of altcoins has grown by 80-85%, while Bitcoin has grown by 150% over the same period.
In the highlighted section of the graph in 2021, you can see that the altmarket grew by 300% after Bitcoin reached a new high, while Bitcoin’s dominance decreased by 40%.
Conclusions - in the near future after the Bitcoin ETF, we will most likely continue to overperform the altmarket, especially if there is a correction or in the event of a sharp increase in Bitcoin, liquidity will also leave the alts. The most favorable situation for the altmarket with the price of Bitcoin is a smooth growth or sideways movement, and we may well see this in the first quarter of 2024.
Good luck and profit to everyone.
