On April 6, between 8:00 and 12:00 UTC+8, the Filament decentralized exchange (DEX) within the Sei Ecosystem was attacked. The hackers exploited vulnerabilities in the platform's price manipulation and self-liquidation features, leading to a loss of around $572,000 out of $680,000 in user deposits.
🔒 What’s being done:
Filament has suspended trading and withdrawals to prevent any more losses.
The team is working closely with law enforcement and blockchain experts to track down those responsible.
In a bid for a peaceful resolution, Filament has offered a 10% white hat bounty to the attackers if they come forward and resolve the situation.
The stolen funds were funneled through the Symbiosis cross-chain bridge and later moved to the FixedFloat exchange.
