XRP at $10,000 is not ridiculous. In a post by X, Rowen Exchange described it as conservative.
The cryptocurrency expert has identified several reasons why the $10,000 XRP price prediction is cautious.
Institutional adoption
Adoption is one of Rowen Exchange’s biggest justifications for XRP’s $10,000 potential. The cryptocurrency researcher said institutional acceptance of the coin has grown significantly.
Rowen Exchange said that when major banks, payment processors, and governments use XRP for cross-border payments, demand will increase and prices will rise.
The cryptocurrency specialist says XRP has 100 billion coins. Due to collateral issues and long-term holdings, Rowen Exchange reports that only half of the token’s supply is in circulation.
Analysts have predicted a supply crunch that would drive up the price if institutions hoard the token for liquidity.
Institutional adoption, as opposed to retail-led speculation, can maintain liquidity and volume, driving prices higher over time, Rowen Exchange said.
From its current price of $2.76, XRP would need to rise by about 362,000% to reach $10,000, which skeptics believe is too far away.
In a Rowen Exchange article, a crypto community member described the $10,000 price target as “highly unlikely.”
The crypto investor disagrees, saying XRP would need a market cap of $1 quadrillion to reach $10,000, which is “unrealistic” given that the cryptocurrency market cap is $3 trillion as of 2024 and the global economy is $100 trillion.
Another cryptocurrency expert says that the market cap doesn't matter because XRP is a utility, not a speculative asset, and thus could reach $10,000.
