I just came across an article stating that people in Indonesia were stealing electricity from the national grid to power their bitcoin mining apparatus.
Well, this is a serious issue, and there must be a broad discussion around it. The news made me think about a growing number of projects popping up in the cryptospace that are setting up blockchains allowing normal people to mine and pay in the real world with crypto from their smartphones.
If we consider the hash capacity of all smartphones worldwide combined, the number is really huge, and this is a promising field to explore. So, if you haven't done your research on it yet, there are some interesting projects out there. One I've already mentioned here is BitcoinSpark.org ($BTCS), which is currently being traded on PancakeSwap through BSC. I highly recommend you read the whitepaper and join the official Telegram group! And always be aware of scammers! 😎
