168,000 ETH mysteriously transferred to an unknown wallet, Whale Alert tracked six massive transfers.

The blockchain tracking platform Whale Alert recently monitored six consecutive Ethereum transfers, each with ETH amounts slightly above $100 million. According to on-chain data sources, these six transactions occurred within one hour, with each transaction approximately 27,970 ETH, and each with a fiat value between $100.5 million and $100.7 million. All these transfers occurred between anonymous blockchain addresses. As of now, the total transfer amount has reached 168,000 ETH, approximately $603 million.

During this anonymous whale activity, the price of Ethereum also surged significantly, increasing nearly 6%, from $3,430 to $3,628. However, as of the writing of this article, the ETH price has slightly retraced about 1.5%, currently at $3,575.

BlackRock's Ethereum ETF sets a new milestone.

Another major news related to this is that BlackRock's Ethereum ETF has achieved a new milestone. According to Chinese cryptocurrency journalist Colin Wu, on January 3 (Friday), the overall net inflow of the Ethereum exchange-traded fund (ETF) reached $58.78 million, with BlackRock's Ethereum ETF (ETHA) having the largest net inflow of $33.88 million in a single day. As of now, the total inflow of BlackRock's Ethereum ETF has reached $3.559 billion.

Meanwhile, BlackRock's Bitcoin spot ETF (IBIT) experienced the largest single-day outflow. On January 3, the outflow amount for this ETF was $332.6 million, equivalent to 3,413 BTC. This outflow amount set a record for the largest single-day outflow since the ETF's launch, even surpassing the outflow amount on December 24, 2023, when BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF saw an outflow of $188.7 million, equivalent to 1,933 BTC.
