I've heard that founder Billy Markus is planning a big move—making Dogecoin deflationary! Once this news broke, the crypto community went crazy, but we have to wait for the official word to confirm its truth.
Deflation means making money more valuable. Just think about it, the small cake that used to cost 10 bucks now only costs 5 after deflation, effectively doubling the purchasing power. If Dogecoin really becomes deflationary, it will shift from being a 'common item' to a 'scarce commodity.' But this idea needs to be proposed by the developers on GitHub and then get the nod from community members and miners, after all, this is everyone's 'favorite.'
