Total Tokenized RWA Value Soars to $8.16 Billion
The world asset (RWA) sector has seen significant growth over the past three years, with total value locked (TVL) soaring 58 times its previous valuation. DeFiLlama data shows TVL hitting an all-time high of $8.16 billion.
Stablecoin issuer Usual and decentralized investment management platform Hashnote led the growth. Usual increased 26.17% or $1.76 billion in a week, while Hashnote increased 24.55% or $1.81 billion in the same time frame.
Not only that, over the past 30 days, this metric has jumped 266% for Usual, while Hashnote followed with a 252% increase. Both contributed more than 35% to the total value of assets locked in the RWA sector.
With the surge in the RWA tokenization sector, it reflects the huge potential to democratize investment access and increase liquidity across asset classes.
