【Airdrop News】 Towns, led by A16Z, has just launched. It is the blockchain version of Discord, raising $25.5 million. Daily beaver sign-ins and joining paid channels can earn you points.

Registering will generate a non-private key base chain wallet, which can also be linked to your own wallet. Besides chatting, other operations like sign-ins and creating channels are on-chain, so a small amount of ETH from the base chain is needed for gas. The project team has hinted multiple times at issuing tokens and intends to decentralize governance to the community.

Currently recommended gameplay is to add some channels with no more than one hundred people or low barriers for entry, and for users with multiple accounts, create channels with larger accounts and join with smaller ones while remaining active.

Since it has just launched, the number of users is still small. I've done a little research, and the economic model looks good. If the project team has the strength to promote it, there will be significant growth potential.

Towns has already launched on the Apple Store, but it seems to be unavailable on Android. Daily sign-ins can only be done through the browser; I haven't seen a sign-in window in the app.
