For all altcoins to rise, BTC could drop to $8xx and hover around this level for about 3-4 months before crashing, at which point it would have strong momentum for BTC's growth.

So many positive things coming with the new year, that’s why a huge manipulation will happen before the big rise. Everyone is expecting Bitcoin to rise, everyone expecting the wars to end, everyone expecting billions of dollars to be invested in Bitcoin with the new election, which is why a manipulation should happen to shake out people from the market and liquidate as much as they can of positions before the real bull market starts.
