Imagine buying ETH for $3000, feeling happy when it rises to $3500, even happier when it reaches $4000, but then feeling frustrated and angry when it drops back to $3500, regretting not selling at the high to earn an extra $500. The mindset changes even though the value of ETH hasn't changed.
An improper mindset can lead to two negative outcomes: one is prematurely taking profits out of fear of a pullback while the upward trend is not over, missing subsequent profit opportunities;
the second is stubbornly waiting to sell at a high point after the upward trend has ended, resulting in a drop in coin price and losing all profits.
Therefore, in investing, it’s important to maintain the right mindset and not always try to sell at the highest point. Make decisions based on market expectations; if you judge that the trend will continue, hold your coins and don't fear pullbacks;
if you judge that the trend has ended, sell decisively and don't wait for the price to return to high points, otherwise you may fall into a passive situation.
