From my little brother's chat the day before yesterday, he also asked about 2 markets in the crypto world, namely Spot and Futures. I don't want to discuss the system further, because I only want my little brother to enter crypto as an investor, and nothing more.
For me, the Spot Market is the real market, while Futures is just a pseudo market and exists only to take our money because basically we don't have the "goods"
If the spot market is vulnerable to manipulation by its players, what about Futures? It must be worse. Many people are lulled by the large returns, because their money can multiply in an instant. However, they are not aware that the market moves dynamically and cannot be predicted accurately, especially by beginners.
For me, investors and traders must have 'the goods', not rent or borrow. That is what distinguishes traders from brokers. The crypto market or $BTC is something new and not many people understand it.
However, it all comes back to each trader and investor, because we have different risk management.
