Why are so many people excluded from futures trading?

This notion is incorrect;

When futures get liquidated, spot prices can also go to zero;

Whether you are trading futures or spot, you are still trading, and what matters most is the trader's mindset and strategy;

Stop-loss is a safety valve in futures trading.

Clearly, you can set stop-loss orders; why do some still get liquidated?

First, stop-loss can indeed limit single losses.

However, for traders with heavy positions, even with stop-loss, psychological pressure can undermine rationality, ultimately leading to liquidation.

For light position futures trading, whether or not to set a stop-loss makes little substantial difference;

Light position trading has a larger margin for error; you can wait until the market truly reverses before considering closing your position, rather than continuously stopping losses during the process!

It is not hard to find that heavy positions and counter-trend operations are the real behind-the-scenes drivers.

Stop-loss is just a tool, not a lifeline in futures trading.

Avoiding liquidation hinges on rational position holding, trend judgment, and good emotional management. Remember, on the trading path, mindset and strategy are equally important to achieve stability and longevity.
