dYdX is an unlicensed perpetual futures exchange. dYdX offers two main products: dYdX Chain (dYdX V4) and dYdX V3.
$dYdX Chain (dYdX V4)
dYdX Chain is a Layer-1 network based on a Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) mechanism, where a perpetual futures exchange is built. dYdX Chain is developed using Cosmos SDK and secured by the CometBFT consensus mechanism (a fork of Tendermint Core).
To start trading, users need to connect a supported wallet to a compatible network to deposit USDC or other supported tokens, which are then converted to USDC on Noble, the currency used on the dYdX Chain. Users can also deposit USDC directly onto Noble Chain from Coinbase.
Additionally, dYdX V4 can be accessed on iOS devices through the mobile app in eligible regions. Notably, unlike dYdX V3 (where dYdX Trading Inc. receives transaction fees), there is no centralized party receiving transaction fees on dYdX V4.
dYdX V3
dYdX V3 is a perpetual futures trading platform built on a Layer-2 protocol developed by dYdX and StarkWare, based on StarkWare's StarkEx scalability engine technology and dYdX's Perpetual smart contracts.
dYdX V3 uses StarkWare's zero-knowledge rollup (zkSTARKS) technology to speed up transactions and reduce transaction costs, with Ethereum as the base payment layer.
To start trading, users need to connect a supported wallet to the Ethereum network to deposit USDC in ERC-20 format or purchase USDC with fiat through Banxa. dYdX V3 can also be accessed on iOS devices through the mobile app in eligible regions.

Overall, this is also a project focused on the Dex exchange, not particularly special except for the following categories: DragonFly Capital Portfolio, Defiance Capital Portfolio, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) Portfolio, Delphi Ventures Portfolio, Polychain Capital Portfolio......
if you know what I mean!
